Employee Murdered While Working, Wal-Mart Continues Business

Wal-Mart is a one stop shop that makes our shopping experience more convenient and less expensive. I will admit, you can find anything at Wal-Mart but this convenience is hurting our communities. Wal-Mart has been subject to criticism by numerous groups and individuals such as labor unions, community groups, grassroots organizations, religious organizations, environmental groups and customers. Wal-Mart has been accused of racial and gender discrimination, foreign product sourcing, treatment of product suppliers, environmental practices, use of public subsidies and company security policies. Economists at the Cato Institute suggest that Wal-Mart is a success because it sells products that people want to buy at low prices, satisfying customers’ wants and needs. However, Wal-Mart’s critics argue that Wal-Mart’s lower prices draw customers away from other smaller businesses, hurting the community.

Even though this is old news, it’s new to me and people need to be aware of this. Wal-Mart is so greedy, they couldn’t close their doors for ONE day at ONE store? smh Your thoughts? www.liveitloveitdoit.com
