The conflicts in Syria started when people of Syria were pushing for Al Assad’s resignation after the country has been under Assad’s families control since 1971. This is all part of a bigger protest movement known as the Arab spring. In April of 2011 Syrian army fired upon many protesters which resulted in turned into an armed rebellion. The rebels are composed of ex-military and civilian volunteers where clashes are being taken place in many towns and cities in Syria. This all started just because the people wanted their basic rights.
Recently Syrian government has been questioned about using chemical weapons but after recent news they seem to think that this is one-hundred percent true. This is such a big deal because the number one thing militaries cannot do is use chemical weapons.
Is I was the united states government I would stay out of this but if we needed to get involved we don’t need to be all the way involved. Like we don’t need to become part of the rebel army.
