Boston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy, has announced the opening of a new location in Woburn , MA
Everyone is welcome to join us for the The Grand Opening Celebration on September, 21st 2013 - 11 am - 2 p.m
We will have free food, lots of Fun, amazing special guests and awesome Jiu-Jitsu and self defense demonstrations.
Lifetime Local resident, Jimmy DelOrfano will own and operate the Academy, which will teach Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, Muay Thai, Yoga
and soon the popular body transformation course, Insanity. Classes are available for children 5 years +, women and men of all skill levels.
Before opening the Academy, Martial arts and competitive instinct have been part of Professor Delorfano's entire life. Wrestling while in school. his athleticism and skill grew, so did his desire to further his Martial arts training. In addition to his receiving his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2009 from Roberto Maia a 5th degree black belt and the highest ranking black belt on the east coast, Jimmy has a passion for MMA and Muay Thai training with Sityodtong for several years. Mr. DelOrfano he has trained and competed in countless GI and no GI competitions and has a professional
Mixed Martial Arts record of 1-0 .

Boston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, was started in 1996 by Professor Roberto Maia who was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he grew up training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu alongside his cousins, the world renowned Gracie's, who developed the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. A Fifth degree black belt, he is the highest ranking practitioner of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in New England. Professor Maia's life is dedicated to the advancement and continual development of the art through quality instruction at every level and through building a sense of community and family among those who train together.
