100 Ways to Travel Better: Your tips
Wake Up Call
You want to save time and money? Do yourself a favour— when staying in a hotel, don't bother asking the hotel desk clerks to give you a wake up call. You know they never say no, but the problem is most of them probably will forget it. Simply don’t trust them. If your hotel room is not equipped with an alarm clock, just set the alarm clock of your mobile phone to the time you would like to be woken up. Waking yourself up, you'll have more chance of not missing a thing, like your night rendez-vous or perhaps your early morning flight. Missing a flight is a very frustrating and expensive travel impediment; and that I remember well!
