    Biden/Palin Debate

The critics seem to be echoing the same sentiment, "Governor Sarah Palin did much better than expected".   As far as I am concerned; it would have been difficult for her to have done any worse than her abysmal performances with Katie Couric.  Although she obviously did better than expected, albeit with plenty of coaching and practice; she was clearly no match for Senator Biden, who was explicit and confident in his delivery.

He supported his statements with pertinent information; while it was challenging to discern lucid  reponses from Governor Palin at times.  In fact, she seemed to revert to her expertise on the energy issue when she had no intelligent response to several questions posed.  I also felt Governor Palin was far too "folksy" in her delivery.

As a result, she seemed inarticulate, referring to the mistakes of the current administration as "blunders".  A blunder to me is something that happens when an actor forgets a line.  However, it is quite an understatement when referring to thousands of lives, dreams and hopes lost.

Governor Palin may be a lovely woman; notwithstanding, I (along with many others) feel very uncomfortable about the prospect of her being a "heartbeat" away from President of the United States of America.  From what I understand, she is doing a fine job in Alaska as Governor and hockey mom, from my vantage point that is where she should remain.
