This iReport is part of an assignment:
The Dreamless America
In 1958, a book was written, titled, "The Naked Communist" by Cleon Skousen. In this book, a 45 step plan was described to destroy the democracy that America had enjoyed and replace it with socialism then facism. At the time that this book was written, no one believed that any of these steps would even be remotely possible in America. Yet as we objectively look at the America and the world that we live in today, all 45 steps have been accomplished. This process to destroy America has been so steady and effective, that no one under the age of 50, even knows what communism or true democracy is. Americans have been so acculmated to socialism, government ownership and control, which is a precursor to communism, that they continue to demand and expect more government control over every aspect of their lives: from cradle to grave.
Let's objectively look at a few of the steps to dismantling America, then be amazed at how far we have fallen as a democratic, morla society. Step 4: Permit free trade between all nations regardless of communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war. Step 6: Provide American aid to all nations regardless of communist domination. Step 7: Grant recognition of Red China to the UN. Step 16: Une technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights. Step 17: Get control of the schools. Step 20: Inflitrate the press. Step 21: Gain control of kep positions in radio, TV and motion pictures. Step 26: Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity, as "normal, natural and healthy." Step 31: Belittle all forms of American culture. Step 40: Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity, masturbation and easy divorce.
There is no denying that America today is a far cry from what it was 50 years ago and unfortunately, the trap his been sprung on all American citizens and there is no turning back. I wish that I could offer any hope to the masses of us, but sadly, all of our options for change or improvement lie in total control of those that put us in this position. There is no waking up from this American nightmare.
