Are chemical weapons a ‘red line’?
Maybe (Chemical Weapons Still No Win for US of A)
- sarahbrowngb, CNN iReport producer
Any way you look at the situation in Syria there is no upside for America. It is truly damned if we act and damned if we don't act.
While from a humanitarian standpoint we want to step in, without congressional approval, the President should not act. This is not a case of "imminent threat", thus not under his purview to act unilaterally. The injection of chemical weapons does not change that.
From the Cornfield, the President should act only with approval of Congress.
