This iReport is part of an assignment:
No Plausible Explanation Are You Kidding?
This tells me that they have found no evidence to prove anything; which means anybody could have snuck into that area in the middle of the night and set off those bombs and snuck back out without ever having been seen. Can it be done? You bet it can. It is a frightening possibility, but it is one plausible option they don’t seem to be looking into either.
Why would somebody do such a thing? I could think of a couple of them just off of the top of my head.
1; President Obama made two big gaffes when speaking publicly in off handed comments. The first was in saying that “Assad had to go” and the other was in placing a red line involving chemical weapons specifically. In so doing President Obama opened up a can of worms nobody wants opened. Once made public you open yourself up for all kinds of problems which I think President Obama is just finding out; placing the USA in an embarrassing situation. Some countries might even use the embarrassment to make themselves look big to their own people and further dispelling the credibility of the USA at the same time.
2; If President Obama acts on the issue it could bring about another war that some would just love to see take place. This is a critical time in Biblical terms for all of the people that have studied the Holy Bible. Many spend a great deal of their idle time predicting the end of the world in a large World War. It could very well happen depending on what the people in charge decide to do here. Would that make it God’s will? Many thinks it does.
3; Has anybody even looked at who might have the most to gain if the USA strikes and a war is the end result? I doubt that anybody has looked beyond the obvious and maybe that is the problem. There are many rebel forces at play in Syria and any one of those forces stand to gain, but who are the rebels tied with? Who supports the rebels?
In the twenty first century we must look at all of the possibilities including the seemingly impossible ones. As for other nations looking down on the United States of America; I would rather have egg on my face now and apologize for speaking out without just cause and have the world think us weak. Underestimation is everybody’s downfall.
