    Small But Colorful Office

My office space is actually a small nook on the second floor of our home right off the staircase. The office was designed on a small budget and because the space is small organization was super important. My blue campaigner bookshelves were found at a thrift store and I made them over and is one of my favorite pieces of furniture and holds all of my design books. Both bookcases were only $100.00. My desk was found at an auction for a steal and I painted it a bright red and sprayed the original handles silver. All my art supplies are in black photo boxes on the built in bookshelf that also stores handmade items from my children and other collectibles. In order for the room not to look too colorful I painted the wall black and added accents of black throughout the room. The office is not only highly functional but also very sentimental! A perfect work environment for a mom that works from home!
