This iReport is part of an assignment:
Are chemical weapons a ‘red line’?
"Chemical" is the critical word
''First of all, I want to ask the American soldiers this question. Did they sign in the navy to fight against El Kaide. 5-6 year ago the words were; "where will the States attack after Iraq". Syria or Iran was the rumours. "Chemical weapons" is just a cover, just a cloak. We do not trust the reports. I, personally do not want Turkey to be in such an act. It has many reasons. First, the Syrian people will have damage. Many innocent people will die there. Who wants to be responsible for such an act?! Our president who is proud of his Islamic belief is letting such an act? Doesn't this look so nonsence? And Turkey's financial situation is so fragile and the stock market will be influenced negatively. As Turkey has many problems of its own, to interfere another country's domestic problems seems so nonsense. USA has a bad image. Everyone knows what they did in Afghanistan and Iraq. "Chemical" is the critical word, okay but does the States know who used it? We are not sure and do not trust USA's declarations. In short, again the innocent people will have losses. In a world of arms dealers, money and benefits; to talk about peace is utopic and we do not have the character of Pollyanna... None of us''
