This iReport is part of an assignment:
Student voices in journalism
Not Just One of the Crowd
In the past month I found myself sitting in class--indeed a small group, a situation which offers a lot of advantages. There is a lot of interaction between the teacher and individual students and among the students themselves. Questions are given ample attention. Each one is able to participate in depth and is not just "one of the crowd".
The particular class where I belong this past August is made up of 9 students from all over--Italy, Chile, Iran, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Taiwan, Turkey and the Philippines. Müzi, our remarkable young teacher takes us through grammar, writing and conversation, making sure that individual needs in the learning process are answered.
