Can you guess what this is?
During WW11 in the US it was sometimes a family's or someone's only means of communication to know what was going on overseas. A lot of weekends in America were spent around the radio!
Did anyone see the Woody Allen movie "Radio Days" or "Brighton Beach Memoirs" by Neil Simon?
I no longer have a radio. I have a cel phone for emergencies, a Sony CD Walkman with headphones and white ear buds because I LOVE music.
Good music sounds the same to me although the times have changed.
