    Cabbage Patch Kids

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Pupadorn bought these Cabbage Patch kids and Koosa (a Cabbage Patch pet) for his wife and sister Christmas 1983, when he worked at Sears. 'Once the dolls hit their peak in '82 and '83, they became scarce and each time the store announced we had received a shipment, the buying frenzy would start. I can recall several fights breaking out as people pushed and shoved each other. We finally had to start giving out doll tickets before the store opened to those people waiting in line.'
    - dsashin, CNN iReport producer

Worked for Sears back in the 80's and the Cabbage Patch Dolls were all the craze. We had to have security guard the mall doors due to the crowds which were 10 rows deep waiting for the doors to open when we advertised them for sale
