    Dining Room Turned Home Office

When we moved into our home, we decided that converting the formal dining room area into a home office would make more sense for our family. To give it more of a library feel, we had custom bookcases built to cover the entire wall. Instead of a traditional desk, I found an old farmhouse table on Craigslist and paired it with a linen chair. I used metal chairs and a fun orange ikat rug to add texture and color.

The best part of this space is that it can easily be transformed back into a dining room by pulling our dining chairs out of storage when needed. To see the before, during and after photos of this space, visit my blog: http://emilyaclark.blogspot.com/2012/02/my-home-office-finally-finished.html
