This iReport is part of an assignment:
Are chemical weapons a ‘red line’?
Close the door on war!
What do you do with bad guys? Lock 'em up and throw away the key until they straighten out.
This is a cartoon the staff at KidSwoop.com felt had to be done in the name of the kids their website was designed for.
How many kids never came back from the last 2 wars? How many kids who lived in those warring nations never grew up? How many kids will be lost by bombing Syria into stopping the war?
Will parents feel better when their kids are killed by a bomb that's dropped to stop the war?
100 thousand killed and massive destruction hasn't gotten both sides to settle what's best for their country, what will a little more by U.S. missiles and bombs do?
Maybe warriors with empty bellies, food supply cut off by sanctions, will nourish some sanity.
Use U.S. might instead to force the sanctions.
What will damage our relations with Russia and China more, bombing Syria or boycotting and sanctioning them?
Take the money we'll spend on the missiles and bombs and help more Syrian refugees live a full, safer life in exile. These are the only people who put a value on life in the country and they should be rewarded for their sanity and their new-found lives shine as an example for warring minds.
Close the door on war for kids everywhere.
