Lettuce is a low calorie green leafy vegetable (source of Vit A and folic acid ) which is refreshing and healthy. Instead of taking some sugary processed food,better to pass time with Lettuce with little effort to prepare and check out some cooking videos online. There are many ways to enjoy this lettuce,but try this way through these steps.
What you need are Lettuce, Cashews, Olive oil, Carrot, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Boiled eggs, and Salad dressing of personal choice.
Gather some lettuce. This can be bought at most markets and farmer's markets.
Clean and cut lettuce into small pieces.
Add some mildly salted, medium roasted cashews (adds taste).
Add little olive oil (source of Vitamin A) and mix, because it helps in easy swallowing.
Add small pieces of carrot (good for eyes), tomatoes ( source of vit c) and cucumber.
Add some pieces of boiled egg for proteins.
Try some salad dressing of personal choice to enjoy this healthy food with great taste and freshness.
