CNN PRODUCER NOTE Gabby Demirdjian, 21, is a journalism student at Loyola University Chicago. She is part of a class of students who submitted their views on Syria. 'I think that no action in Syria on the part of the United States may bear far worse consequences than taking action, depending on what that action may be, of course. Like I said in the video, if our country does not take action, it would set a bad example on our part and show that this kind of behavior is acceptable -- or not unacceptable enough to react to. Furthermore, as the President stated in his address, who knows what no action may lead to? I know that our enemies are keeping a close watch on how the U.S. will handle this situation and by not taking action, we could be putting ourselves in great danger.' But, she also says she fears that military action could also pose grave danger. 'I feel that if the military strike stays true to what the President just explained -- one area-specific strike that will be large enough to send a message -- then the U.S. will hopefully remain out of harms way and, more importantly, also remain out of another Middle Eastern foreign affair. My main concern, as is everyone else’s, is avoiding another war.'
