President Gave A Moral Reason To Intervene In Syria - But That Is Not Enough

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Following President Obama's Tuesday speech EWillies1961 concluded, 'I think this for the most part is over. The President will win the chess game in that he was willing to reluctantly go to war. Because the resolve was perceived as real, Russia will likely blink because they want an ally in the middle east (Assad in Syria) and they are convinced that a vacuum leaves them out of the loop.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

I wish the President had convinced me though I know he could not because I believe the rational for intervention while moral is flawed in my humble opinion. Some believe not intervening weakens America which I believe holds no water. Irrespective of our actions today, all know that the might of the military of the United States is unparalleled.
