Homeless And The City
Often called "The Center of The Universe" Time Square attracts over 39 million visitors each year. However, a visit to the big apple wouldn't be complete without running into at least one homeless person. Comprised of all age, gender and race, the homeless situation in New York According to Coalition For The Homeless "Has reached the highest levels since the Great Depression of the 1930s."
It becomes very apparent to sight seekers that homelessness in New York is something very common. Thinking perhaps, it's just part of the New York experience. But unfortunately the homeless will still be here long after the vacationers return home.
