This iReport is part of an assignment:
Let’s Talk About Arrogance
Weighing calculations are all part of leadership and if Senator Menendez does not know this at his age and in his current position than he needs to step down and allow somebody in office that has a better understanding of the way things and human beings work.
Also I would like to point out that considering that President Obama has been providing weapons and other materials to the opposition of Assad for at least the past few weeks, that those actions can also be considered conniving and calculating, Senator Menendez; any statements on that? Doesn’t that make the American government just as bad as the Russians?
As for Putin’s statement that the American people are not exceptional; I’m amazed at how quickly the American Government made an about face. After many American’s wanted to vomit upon the horrific displays President Obama put on apologizing to every foreign country for the American’s supposedly deplorable ways, he met; and verbally demeaning the American people. Did the government think that was all forgotten? Gee where do you suppose Putin even got the idea that the American people were not exceptional? That many saw as President Obama’s arrogance.
While I am not Catholic, I took personal offence to what amounted to Senator Robert Menendez’ sneer as he spoke about the Pope and Putin. Lack of respect in this country is appalling enough without it coming from its leadership too. There is damn few, if any; that can actually say they have not committed what the church would call a sin. So it is highly doubtful that many there can in all honesty cast the first stone; the government’s very public records can prove it.
