    Boulder Flood Fun

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Taylor Self of Boulder, Colorado, says the storms in Colorado gave her pup a little pond to play in. ' I noticed the 'pond/marsh' -- that developed on the field the previous night -- early that morning when it was still raining pretty hard and thought my pup would enjoy playing out there. Later, I noticed a break in the rain and decided to take Caleb, the puppy, out there to get some energy out in the water with his favorite float toy. Rain clouds were covering the sky the entire hour and a half or so that we were out there. It sprinkled on and off but seemed like it was done pouring. It was really calm and still out there; quite nice actually. Most of the college kids were still sleeping due to campus closure and the only noise around was coming from the green truck in the background which was pumping water out of apartment basements across the street. We were just trying to make the best of the nasty weather!'

Playing in a flood made pond/marsh with the best pup! In boulder Colorado during the calm of the storm. It's going to get crazy again soon!
