It's been steady rain for a few days now. We haven't gotten the kind of rain the towns north of Denver have gotten but I think we've gotten a years worth in the last few days. It's raining steadily right now. So far only a few areas of standing water on the roadways in and out of my neighborhood. There's only one road in and out of my neighborhood, a frontage to I25. It did have some questionable spots late yesterday. Even the national weather service called the rainfall in Colorado "biblical". I'm originally from Southern California and the rain we're getting in Colorado now reminds me of the El Nino years when it just rained without end for days. If it keeps going like this I think I'll build an Ark! I tried to post this last night but my internet went out and it was out all night.
A few photos from around my house.
