    Healing Field Dedication

American flags at Spring Hill cemetery in Huntington, WV. The area is called "The Healing Field" and honors veterans, lost loved ones, and  lost their lives in the 9/11 tragedy. Wednesday evening hundreds gathered to dedicate the field in a special ceremony. Many veterans filled the crowd with others to show their patriotism.
The Huntington High school band and Marshall University music students played special patriotic music  for the crowd. Different speakers told their stories of lost loved ones including Dr. Ken Ambrose, whose son, Dr. Paul Ambrose died in the plane that crashed into the Pentagon, and Medal of Honor recipient Woody Williams. The highlight of the ceremony was the unveiling of a new bell tower that stands in the cemetery, built by donations from those who purchased the flags.
