September 15, 2013 saw the annual of gathering of Pagans, Wiccans, Witches, Heathens, and Druids in Portland, Oregon known as Pagan Pride Day. Pagan Pride Day celebrations are held in cities around the USA, primarily during September. This year's gathering in Portland, Oregon, saw vendors from around the state gathered with Pagans and non-Pagans alike for a celebration of this often misunderstood religion. Pagan Pride Days are also a time of outreach from the Pagan Community to the non-Pagan neighbors, friends, and family in the area. It is an opportunity for non-Pagans to come and see how Pagans practice their religion and to learn about Pagan beliefs. This year's celebration in Portland was another great success despite a bit of rain. Workshops were taught, music was played, rituals conducted, and friends reconected. There is a Pagan Pride Day celebration near everyone in the USA.
