Centenarian shares birthday with Mexico's Independence Day

On a foggy afternoon on the eve of Mexico’s Independence Day this week, Maria Tlatemohua Xochicali, an indigenous Nahuatl woman, stands in her outside corredor in the village of Cubaniquilco, Mexico waiting to welcome guests for the celebration of her 100th birthday. This woman continues to work, plant corn, make tortillas and wash her great-grandchildren's clothes.
