The lone fisherman hoping for good catch in the seaside of Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines caught my attention during our quick visit in the area. Certainly, fishing is a good subject for writers, artist, photographers and nature lovers. I cannot afford not to capture the beautiful and lesson-filled sight so I took my camera and tried to get closer to the rocky area and enjoyed taking photos. We usually go to this place during our childhood days for picnic and to watch those small and colorful fishes swimming in crystal-like water. It’s refreshing to have a short stop here and enjoy the sea breeze facing the China Sea. The place is well-remembered by the old folks by its old name “Paraiso ni Juan” which means “John’s Paradise”.
