Salute to troops
Troops Honoring Wounded Warriors by running 185 miles in one week!

A team consisting of 2 runners and 2 bicyclists are running 185 miles along the Cheasapeake and Ohio Canal Trail in 1 week. Averaging a marathon a day for 7 days, to raise awareness and funds to support Operation Second Chance. 100% of funds donated to the www.185forheroes.org website are given to OSC to support the wounded warriors during their transition from the hospital to their homes. OSC helps the wounded warriors to get active outside of the hospital and their homes. The runners are both on active duty in the Army; SFC David Brown, and SSG Michael Rychlik. The cyclists are Army SSG Jeromiah Platt and Air Force MSGT Casey Daniel. They are currently in the middle of their week long adventure and will have a finish line celebration on the Copley Lawn at Georgetown University on Saturday September 21st at 4:30pm and is open to all guests.
