To day at 16:00 in the stadium of the sports complex Mahsul that in the Yasamal district of the capital (near Gelebe Square), a rally of supporters of the opposition National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) started.

More than 5000 people that gathered for a rally of the opposition National Council acclaimed the words of the leader of the party Musavat, who called the head of state Ilham Aliyev to resign .

Prior to that, a similar appeal was made by the former head of the Interior Ministry Iskender Hamidov , which was more categorical: If Aliyev does not go away , then he will be sent down , he said .

In their speeches at the rally the leaders of the National Council noted large enthusiasm and support by the country's population.

"For 12 minutes of his speech at a televised debate , our candidate Jamil Gasanli did more than this government for 20 years of its reign ," said the leader of the Popular Front Party Ali Kerimli , urging citizens to be active in the presidential elections . "Enough of lies and deceit, Ilham has to go ," he said.

It should be noted that the opposition rally was the most massive and emotional one in the recent years.
