Armenia is a small country, bordered by Turkey to the west, Georgia to the north, Azerbaijan to the east, and Iran to the south, (estimate population in 2010 was 3,262,200). The country celebrated its 23rd of independence on September 21. The people of this former soviet union country, especially younger females are eager to adapt to the western world and new changes. They are also paying more attention to the luxury. Everyday they visit shops to purchase beautiful dresses, shoes, etc. Apple products is also considered as expensive fancy computers and devices being used by younger generation. Apple company does not have any official Apple Store in Armenia to sell its products. Although there are many shops, like iStore (formerly Apple Armenia which later was forced by law to change the name), iCentre (formerly iPhone.am, its name changed to iCentre last year, as well), iMall.am and many other shops provide Apple products, especially iPhone which is so popular among young people, however Orange Armenia is the only carrier which provide legal locked iPhones in the country. AppStore is open for this country and iPhone and iPad users can purchase their apps legally without any problem. A part of iTunes Store also opened to the end users to purchase limited items of Musics, Movies and books.
