This iReport is part of an assignment:
Travel photo of the day
Kona's greatest Jacaranda tree
But I knew that when I first saw her, that i would at least take 100 frames of this beautiful creature. More sentient than most people. At least in my humble opinion.
Under her branches, in her presence, we knew that there was Mother Earth close to us and that life was good. But Mother Earth creates and destroys. In other places in Kona her children live and grow. This is the way of life. No one should cry. Though I do remember with all the depth of my soul. This photo will print to billboard size or fill an entire wall mural in a home.
Some people see it and are connected to trees and life and just fall in love with the tree. I did. My wife did.
