David Koch's Paid Lobbyist, Sen. Ted Cruz Bloviates On the Senate Floor
What is it that Senator Ted Cruz hopes to accomplish by bloviating on the U.S. Senate's floor?
Is he fighting for the benefit of average Americans? Does he feel that the 'average guy' doesn't understand how bad Obamacare will be for them?
Does he understand who will benefit from this new law being implemented and who will not?
Who is Ted Cruz fighting for-his constituents, the insurance companies, David and Charles Koch or himself?
Obamacare isn't a perfect law. No law ever is when it's first written.
Sure. It needs refinement. So ask the questions and investigate the details and make the changes that will make it better. Universal Health Care is the direction we need to go.
But when you see this type of display, by Cruz, on our Senate floor, it makes you wonder just who Ted Cruz is doing this for.
Many people see the Tea Party as a legitimate grassroots movement. It's not.
The Tea Party is Astroturf.
And Ted Cruz and other Tea Party sponsored representatives are there in Congress to do nothing but block the business of governing while those that funded their campaigns conduct business as usual.
For Senator Ted Cruz to say that he's glad that some Liberal didn't put his arm around his father when he was young and impressionable to lead him astray by teaching him to exploit the freebies that government provided the laziest among us, shows anyone with a brain how far out of touch Teapublicans are with the purpose of a social safety net for the poor in our country.
Cruz would move this country back to the days of the robber barons.
When will we stop allowing big money to back candidates that are nothing more than obstructionists and lobbyists for big money interests.
I'm sure David and Charles Koch are smiling as they watch their investment defecate on the U.S. Senate floor on their behalf.
The question we should all ask is, "What type of Texan or person would vote for a Ted Cruz in the first place?"
This is FOX News's fault. The rest of the blame lies with 'conservative think tanks' (which aren't) like Koch's Cato Institute and the Heritage Foundation.
So what's the point of Cruz's railing against Obamacare?
He hopes to shut down the government. Less government is good for the Koch's but not for Americans as Teapublicans, like Cruz, claim.
This type of nonsense is what happens when rich guys have too much money on the hands to influence our government.
