Obamacare: Your story
Why we can't wait. DENIED
Here we go again. The health care fight rears it's ugly head again. And every time it brings back memories of Sheila Wessenberg. She was the mother of two children who had to stop her chemo in the middle of taking it because her husband's job sent home a questionnaire asking what they were using their healthcare for. She begged him not to fill it out but he did because he didn't want them to think he was hiding something. They canceled his contract when they found out she was taking chemo. Sheila was forced to beg for money on the street. Maybe she could have put her house up but she did not want to do that to her kids. She died for her house. Some may say "Well that was stupid" but I guess she felt that was something she needed. She must have needed to know that her children would have a roof over their heads. Maybe she found some peace in that. This story is close to my heart being a survivor of this terrible disease. Hopefully her story won't be in vain. Please view video.
