I saw a CNN report that said the median cost for "affordable health" will be over $300 a month. I am unemployed and have NO income so I don't know HOW I'm supposed to buy health care. Also, I feel mislead that OBAMA got elected on "NO NEW TAXES" but this is enforced through the IRS (a fact that has gotten way too little air-time) What is most disappointing is that I (and my wife, also unemployed) expect to be only one of a huge population of people who choose to opt out, however I have never heard how the money that is obtained through the penalty will be APPLIED TO BRINGING DOWN HEALTH CARE COSTS... Considering the reason for all of this is to curb health care costs, why wouldn't the funds obtained via penalties be dedicated to that purpose?
