Obamacare: Your story
Car Insurance more important than medical insurance?
People think obamacare is wrong. How dare the government make us pay for medical insurance when we don’t need it? How dare the government make me pay for medical insurance for my employees when they are young and healthy? (oh yeah, don’t tell anybody but I’ve been covering my employees with medical, dental & LIFE insurance for a very long time. Even offered them cheaper car insurance rates under my company.)
In America, almost every state you must have ‘Automobile insurance’. It is mandatory, it’s the law!
The newer, the bigger, the fancier, the most expansive car you have, even a 1999 very old car, you must have car insurance am I correct? Even though a new car is in mint condition, the law says you must have it.
So why is it mandatory that you have car insurance? Because if you have an accident and hurt yourself or someone else, and/or need to be taken to the hospital, or the car is total, your insurance will cover all or most of your expanses, might even get you a new car! The Government says we must have car insurance…
So I ask: Why is car insurance more important than having medical insurance?
People are mad that the government wants everybody to be covered by some type of life saving-or preventive medical insurance – How dare they! You can’t force me to buy medical insurance if I don’t want it! You can make me pay for my car insurance, but not my health! I don’t need it, I’m physically fit! Yes, you may be healthy, and your car is in mint condition, but….what happens if you are in an car accident and/or something happen to you and you need immediately urgent care? That car that hit you is insurance, but not you! What happens if you all of a sudden, get severely ill and you have no medical insurance? You’d probably sign up to get Medicaid, and we, the working people have to pay for you.
But no….don’t hear you complaining about the Government making you pay automobile insurance. If the government gave you a choice, which insurance would you rather buy: Car or medical insurance?
Like automobile insurance, you never know when you may need medical attention. Am I correct
