This iReport is part of an assignment:
The damage from typhoon Wutip just above Bach Ma National Park in Vietnam.
During my trek through Vietnam I was unlucky enough to be driving through this area. It is just north of the national park and between Da Nang and Hue. The road I was going to take to hue was blocked by a mudslide. There were many damaged homes and of course the most damaged happened to poorer families
whose homes are not well built. People were already starting to repair their homes and you can feel the somber mood in the air. I did end up finding another way to Hue by taking the main road (A1). There were points where the wind was quite strong still. I have never been in the aftermath of a typhoon or hurricane so I thought I would share. My best wishes go out to those who were affected that they can repair and prosper.
