This iReport is part of an assignment:
Travel photo of the day
You have it tough?
The sheep have nothing to eat but sand dunes and bits of tufted grass if they are left free to find it on great mountain sides. Up here life is but a heartbeat in a storm. We complain with a three meal a day regimen?
They are thankful with one bowl of rice, water and perhaps a bit of sheep or goat mixed with barley or oats. Or whatever.
I'll never be unhappy again with my food after seeing the desperate lives of the common folk of Lhasa.
They do not control the storms, the droughts or blizzards nor Communist rule. And they suffer in silence.
Today's wine we drink today, tomorrow's sorrow we suffer tomorrow.
