Harry Potter now in Filipino
The Filipino translation of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone came out during the Manila International Book Fair just the first week of September.
Harry Potter: the Filipino edition was published by Lampara Publishing, the children’s literature arm of Precious Pages Corporation. Precious Pages is the leading publisher of Tagalog romance novels. Precious Pages previously came out with Filipino editions of Twilight, Hunger Games, Fifty Shades of Grey, some novels by Nicholas Sparks and other bestsellers.
So now, Potterheads can experience the Harry Potter world once again by picking up and reading this edition translated by Becky Bravo, a known children's literature author in the Philippines.
Filipino is the national language of the Philippines.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was written by J. K. Rowling and was reported to have been translated into at least 70 languages.
