Is There True Justice in the World Today
Going from planning a prom to sitting in a jail cell on 23 hour lockdown is a shocker for Christopher D. Lewis is now facing the death penalty because he went out with a boy Jeffrey Nichols which he thought was to go chase girls. Jeffrey Nichols turned out to be on a murderous rage. Just being released from Boone County Jail in Columbia, Missouri hours earlier Jeffrey Nichols goes and turned a little town of Moberly, Missouri upside down by murdering a 92 year old woman while stealing several cars and going to the smaller surrounding towns and shooting other people. Now an 18 year old senior had to sit in a jail cell on 23 hour lockdown staring at the walls wondering what went wrong. Sitting on a million dollar cash bond his mother does not know what to do or how to get him out all she does is that she needs help and so does he. Christopher will be turning 19 in December he was going to be the first to graduate high school out of his siblings. Christopher is 1out of 7 kids and he wanted to be a barber / cosmotologist. Christopher had just moved up here from Florida and been here for 6 weeks and did not know anything about the Midwest or the country life. The talk of a quieter and calmer for place for her kids to come to had her making the move and now she wonders if it was the worst mistake of her life. The other children are being harassed by law enforcement and nobody wants to be around them and they are being shunned. The mother sees how the system works with her life. Is there no real justice in the world is everybody out to get everybody else or will the truth finally come out and he be set free,6 months later he still there on 23 hour lock down and still has no room to move around a lot. Praying for someone to see the light an 18 year old is waiting to hear his fate hoping that the world here is pleased to know that he is not guilty. Asking for prayers and for help in any way possible the mother prays every night to make sure that he gets prayed for. No one knows the answers and nobody can say anything except for he needs to stay at 23 hour lockdown is trial might be 2 years plus for now or longer and there's nothing they can do about it so if anybody can hear this plea please help. Prayers are most appreciated. Being locked down for 6 months or more is the hardest thing a honor roll senior has to do after playing basketball and video games all day. To being stranded in a jail cell facing death. People say that they should get the death penalty. No the one guilty if the crime should be put to death however nobody knows what really happened in that four to five hours except Christopher Lewis and Jeffrey Nichols or the fear that the 18 year old senior had once he figured out what was going on. It went from trying to show off to a new friend just met at around 1 p.m. on Easter Sunday to being involved with massive crime spree that might end his life if his lawyers don't pick up the ball and help him.
