This iReport is part of an assignment:
Shutdown over: What next?
There will always be differences with the pointer-fingers (my word for Democrats and Republicans). That can be understood with their different views and ideological beliefs. But, if you can not have a shut down by simply just extending the previous budget plan and continuing working together to fix and finish the new one in congress. There should be some sort of accountability for each and every person on the house and senate.
Simple thinking, but, if I did not get my job done. I would not have a job. If I lost money for my company in losing funds. It would be deducted by my paycheck. The money they make ($3,300/week) should be used to protect the people that can't work because they could not complete their task at their job.
This money I know wouldn't cover the billions of dollars being lost per week. But, it is close to having a car accident. You wrecked the jobs and lives of these people. Be accountable for your actions and should even extend to most of these congressman's own financial savings. Most of these representatives are millionaires who don't understand the implications of the people who work paycheck to paycheck.
Accountability for the people is all I ask for. Stop pointing your finger to the other side of the house. DO YOUR JOB.
