Shutdown over: What next?
ITS TIME FOR A WAKE UP CALL
In light of the most recent events that are shown on television it is disappointing to see that "prestige members" of the White House would risk the income stability of thousands in attempts to "send a message" to the president. It is apparent that Yale, Harvard, or any other school of excellence has nothing to do with ones personal character or devotion. Today in 2013 members of Congress are allowed to serve on the board for an unlimited term amount of time; however the president can only serve for 8 years to prevent "communism". How can America successfully evolve at the rate necessary for the changes needed to maintain its economical, social, financial, & ethical growth compared to other countries when you have a congress that is consistently working with outdated principles, and policies due to the "communism atmosphere" that is circumvented behind the doors of the White House. It is clear that some members of Congress will not support President Obama because he is:
B. Considered African American
In this generation we should not have Republican and Democratic parties. In my opinion the way that Congress and the Senate is facilitated is no different than the "new age" representation of the division of the Slave States vs. the Free States in which we fought a war to unite; however the culture of more than 100 years ago has seemed to have now evolved into what we now know as the Democratic and Republican parties. It is said that United we Stand and Divided we Fall. It is my opinion that our economy is failing and our debt is rising because of others inability to change and adapt due to a lot of the current systems in place still enforcing the "old world policies". We are anything but "united" and that is why our country is in such a self induced turmoil. It is not realistic to believe that just because you are Republican or Democrat that your political position is entirely conservative or liberal. Therefore it is preposterous that Congress cannot come up with a mutual agreement that is for the "greater good".
The Great Depression is Over. I believe to reduce the debt ceiling The White House should consider the following changes.
A. Time limit on food stamps. If you cant buy your own food with your own money within 10 years than you are not trying to excel in life. The only exceptions should be elderly or physically/ mentally disabled.
B. Time limit on Welfare. After 10 years if you are still producing children with no job than it is not tax payers responsibility to pay for your mistake it is your own.The only exceptions should be elderly or physically/ mentally disabled.
C. Time limit on Section 8 Housing. After 5 years if you cannot pay your own rent. Then you are not making the proper steps to pay your own rent. The only exceptions should be elderly or physically/ mentally disabled.
D. Time limit on Housing Authority Projects. ( Same input as letter C)
and lastly but not least..
E. Bring income producing jobs back to America! America currently ostracizes past felons from jobs regardless of their work ethics, skills, or making the choice to change and reform their ways. Even Americans who havent committed crimes jobs are sold to the lowest bidders overseas. America financially supports families from other countries but they continue to fail their own tax paying citizens.. The United States still continues to indulge in more importing than exporting. While these " stardards" continue the rich become even more wealthy, and the gap between the economical classes widen. America increases it debts from year to year, and US citizens that want to work are struggling to put food on the table. This cycle inevitably leads to more crime, debt, loss of jobs, and dead weight.
Only when the jobs are bought back Americans need to be "weaned" off of these federal and state programs. These programs need to be reconstructed to become stepping stones as they were once intended. Instead these programs are either taken advantage of or a hindrance to people that are actually trying to succeed. As soon as someone makes $20 over the income limit they are kicked off these programs without any transition time which holds back the individuals that are actually trying to excel because as soon as they try make enough money to save so they can move up the "economical ladder" they know they will 'fall back to square one" because they have not yet achieved the income levels they need in order to not have a need to utilize government aide.
If the government revamps these systems so that Americans have assistance vs. fighting compliancy or hindrance depending on the personal characteristics of the U.S. citizens a lot of money could be saved and our debt would probably decrease considerably.
Its time for our citizens to be independent with support. Our economical issues consist of the "failure to thrive concept" because of lack of support vs. the " biting the mouth that feeds you concept" .
This is not rocket science its real life...
