This iReport is part of an assignment:
Rebuilding the Gulf Coast |
A Tale of Two Cities
This I-Report is from Thomas Warren. I am a senior Broadcast Journalism student from Howard University.
What does it mean to be Black in America? While many of us spend our day trying to find meaning to that question, Carrie Handy spends her day trying to make it to the next. Although hers is a story about constant struggle, it's also a story about pressing on in the face of despair, and having faith that better days will come. That's what it means to be Black in America.
