    How big is 700 billion?

    700 billion is a big number.  But just how big is it?  Here are three ways to think about the number.  How else might you describe this number?

     

    After thinking about 700 billion in different ways, my understanding of the magnitude of the bailout problem has increased.  How did we ever let the problem get this big?
