I often go to new neighborhoods to be out with the locals on a sunny afternoon. Here is one such collection of photos from a shopping stroll in Chongqing in a hidden alleyway that led down a very long hill near to Jeifangbei Square; where I bought some fresh celery, a juicy pomegranate and then, a deliciously roasted sweet potato to eat for lunch, but no live snakes or jade Buddhas-at least not today.
