Alfresco brings three generations together
Once again, Alfresco Media and Events has organized Art Exhibition and Competition for the fifth time with the title "Alfresco Open Art and Photography Exhibition cum Competition 2013", with the motto "An Open Platform for Youngsters", where from school students to senior artists have shown their participation and showed their level of creation.
The program was formally inaugurated by Hon. Mrs. Ambica Shrestha, the President of Nepal Heritage Society and Federation of Business and Professional Women Nepal (FBPWH), and Honorary Consul of Spain.
During the Program, Mrs. Shrestha mentioned that even though Mr. Shyam Krishna Shrestha, CEO of Alfresco Media is too young for the job, hasdone a great job by creating "The Platform" for junior level students as well as the Senior artists in order to bridge the gap between the generations' creativity, feelings as well as to create a smooth coordination between them. She also asked Mr. Shrestha to follow on and continue the inspiring work he's been doing.
Mr. Shyam K. Shrestha also mentioned he's been doing these works for almost a half decade and will continue the work further in future too. He's been hard working to improve the moral values within the youth. This program is also a part of his tries to make his effort come successful. The main theme of the exhibition was to promote young artists and make a market for young and upcoming and rising artists, which would also bridge the gap between the generations.
More than 150 participants have been participating in the exhibition including the school students, college students and senior artists. The range of painting prices are from NRs. 3,000.00 to NRs. 1,50,000.00 depending on artists. As mentioned by the Chief Judge Mr. Gehendra Man Amatya, Senior Modern Artist, junior level students and college level students were competed and awarded to moralize them to keep on expressing their feeling through their creative ideas.

and with this Master Shushaan Shrestha and Master Susheen Shrestha from Nirvana Academy were awarded with the token of love for participating as the youngest participants in the exhibition.
The prizes and the certificates were distributed by Hon. Mrs. Shrestha, the Chief Guest of the program and the organizer committee announced that the exhibition will run till 10th of the October, 2013 at Singh Art Gallery, Patan Industrial Area, Lalitpur, Kathmandu, Nepal and requested all to visit the exhibition to motivate the participants.
