This iReport is part of an assignment:
Obamacare: Your story
Understanding the Affordable Care Act
With the rollout on Tuesday, October 1, of the Marketplace Exchange and the continuing difficulties in navigating the system to enroll and learn about health insurance plans and options available under the Affordable Care Act, there is still a lot of misunderstanding of just what the "law of the land" is and how it will impact every day Americans and businesses.
There is a lot of hype, rumor and misinformation being floated about from both supporters and opponents of the health care insurance law.
I have been keeping a chronicle of my life partner Iohn's attempts to muddle through the Marketplace in hopes it will provide insight to others:
Also note that: Tax Credit Subsidy Has Options
But what about the ACA itself?
Exactly what is inside the law and how will it affect you and me?
Last year I did a number of reports in an attempt to help explain the ins and outs of the law. Today I have put all those articles in one place to make it easier to learn about the ACA and hopefully cut through all the noise.
That noise and din has only grown louder as members of Congress have been wrestling over funding or delaying the implementation of the individual mandate and other portions of the law.

There will be a list of links to the 12-part report I did in 2012 explaining the ACA. There are also links to information on preventive care under the ACA and some little-known other provisions of the law.
From the Cornfield, I hope the community finds this beneficial.
Remember knowledge is our friend. Ignorance, rumor and misinformation are no one's friends.
