Shutdown over: What next?
American Families have been suffering
My family lost income back in 2008 when the ression hit metro Detroit. Jobs vanished and the new construction industry disappeared. I was pregnant with my fourth child, as we had our power shut off in December - forcing us to live with a wood burner for heat and a cooler for food. It was a nightmare and I am still tramatized by the year that followed, 2009 - the worst of my life. This ression was brought on by out of control spending and a collaspe in the housing market. Now the government employees are feeling my pain as well as many other American families due to the government shut down. While I am not happy to see others suffer, do they really think they are the only ones who've had it hard?
