    5000 people make glowing cross in Niš, Serbia

    Tonight, about 5000 people in town of Niš, in South of Serbia, gathered in the streets to form a giant glowing cross - people were standing with lighted candles in their hands, and all this to send a message to the World - "I am part of the Cross", in the framework of celebration of 1700. years of the Edict of Milan.

    Luminous Cross was formed in the dark, near the newly built temple of the Holy Emperor Constantine and Empress Helena, where tomorrow will be served the liturgy as the central event marking the 17 centuries since the adoption of the Edict of Milan.Citizens gathered after notice in the local media and posters in prominent public places, and the candles were lit for 15 minutes.
