"LINSANITY" the movie made its Florida debut in Tampa this past week. Linsanity went nationwide with film showings in Los Angeles, New York, Houston, San Francisco, San Diego and other cities on Oct. 4th. "LINSANITY" is a documentary film about Jeremy Lin's uphill journey to the NBA. Movie goers paid $12 a ticket to see it. More than 50 people attended the Florida premiere on a Thursday night, Oct. 3, 2013. Lin, the first Asian-American to play in the NBA, is a point guard for the Houston Rockets. The Gasparilla International Film Festival and Asia Trend sponsored the Tampa event.
"Linsanity" the movie also is the 2013 Sundance Film Festival's choice.
