Shutdown over: What next?
Shutdown? Aspen Auto Repair business in Denver sends Washington a message!
Greg Bunch of AspenAutoRepairDenver.com, an Auto Repair shop in Denver sends a message to Washington about the shutdown... "do what you want, but we're expanding!"
The mortgage bubble in 2008 didn't stop us, the Black Forest and Waldo Canyon fires here in CO haven't stopped us and now we're not about to let the government shutdown stop us either.
With 4 stores in Colorado Springs, owner Greg Bunch, decided to expand Aspen Auto Clinic, despite the current economy. Englewood and Littleton, 2 suburbs just outside of Denver, CO proved to be his newest locations.
Opening a new business in a new town has it's challenges, but with the government shutting down it makes it even more challenging. Whenever this type of thing happens, people panic. When people panic, they don't spend money. But we're not seeing that so much this time around. People are so sick and tired of what's been going on that they're fed up... and we are too.
Case in point, someone has to keep this country running. Someone has to keep the economy alive. Someone has to be the backbone of America.
Small business has always assumed this role, promoting growth, providing jobs, stimulating the local economy and now with the government shutdown it's even more important. We can't sit idly by and wait for things to get better... we can't put our heads in the sand and hope things will change... we have to BE the change. We, the people, are in charge and we're acting accordingly.
If the government wants to shut down and play games, let them. We're open for business and that is what's going to keep this country afloat.
Not only is Greg Bunch of Aspen Auto helping to stimulate the economy despite the government shutdown with his 2 new Denver based locations, but he's doing the same for his Colorado Springs locations, expanding, adding new campaigns and systems to improve the client experience, even helping out local charities with fundraising opportunities... always expanding.
So here's a message the big government in Washington D.C., small business is the backbone of America alongside the American people, we're serious and we're making it happen. Roll up your sleeves and join us.
