My first car |
My First Car Photos
After looking around through old photos, I found one of my actual 1977 Mazda RX3-SP.
This photo I took from atop a Fire Tower I climbed with friends near Monroe, LA. About mid summer of 1978.
This particular fire tower was near an area where just for fun, me and other military friends had been jumping our cars and trucks over a levi. That's when I found out this car was perfect for "Good Air" and would take off and land on all fours while in flight. The photos taken have since been lost, but I recall 35 ft in vertical height and about 80 ft in distance.
After we finished playing on the Levi, and the police never showed up, we knew the Forest Ranger in the tower was entertained by our antics. All of us in our late teens and twenties, had no problem climbing the tower to meet the Ranger, and share a few cold ones with him as our thanks for not locking us up.
This is what Redneck Military people do on the weekends between pay days.
